Meetings/Clubs/Messages:

  • Prom committee will meet Tuesday, Feb. 7 during activity period in room B-227.
  • The Medical club will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 7th. Our guest speaker is from an exciting new program at CBU for Physician Assistants. This is the first program in Memphis of its kind. Everyone is invited come and see what it is all about!
  • Global Outreach Club meets every Tuesday in room A206.
  • Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish National Honor Society and French National Honor Society new member inductions will be on Sunday Feb. 19th at 2 PM in the theatre.

General:

  • The library will close at 12:30 Friday following half-day dismissal.
  • It’s Super Bowl Sunday!! If you are going to or hosting a Super Bowl party, please save your pull tabs for the Ronald McDonald House! You may drop the pull tabs off in Coach D's room [A102] or the main office. SBA's Club St. Jude thanks you for your support in helping the kids at St. Jude!
  • Students: There will be an Elective Class Fair on Feb. 21 during all lunches.
  • Students and Parents: There will be an AP/Honors Fair at 6 PM on Feb. 21 in the dining hall. This is open to any student or parent who is interested in finding out more about our AP and Honors level classes.
  • Spring 2012 SEARCH weekends: February 24-26th and March 23-25th
  • The Junior/Senior girls’ Father/Daughter Dance will be Sunday Feb. 26 at 6:30 PM at Colonial Country Club. Invites will be emailed by Home and School.
  • Pittner Driving School will hold classes on campus in the DLC February 27th-March 9th from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Applications are available from Mrs. Jenkins.
  • Friar Fest 2012, a weekend celebration of faith for college and high school teens, will be held March 16-18 at Holy Rosary.  The weekend is led by the Franciscan Friars of Renewal.  Please contact Jessica Cozart at 767-6949 for more information.
  • Mrs. Rotty is showing Fr. Barron’s documentary, Catholicism, over a course of 10 Mondays from 3:15-4:30 this semester. Each episode is an hour long.

Sports:

  • Spring practice for Girls Lacrosse has started, M-F 5:00-7:00pm. Team tryouts will be the week of 2/6 and are MANDATORY for anyone planning to play this season.
  • Boys Lacrosse Players:  We will give out Lockers TODAY before “Pay Day.”  Make sure that you have your 5 goals (printed) and your combination lock in order to be issued a locker.
  • Tennis Tryouts will be held on Monday, Feb 13th and Tuesday, Feb 14th from 3:30-5:00.  If you have any questions, please contact Coach Hervey at 674-1658
