Our second group came in and played solid. Nicole Cianciolo is becoming a big weapon with her ability to feed the post. Lauren Roberts, a transfer from Kansas City, showed she is quickly picking up our system and made some shots for us. Devin Chandwick did a good job running the point. Monique Boyce, who has been battling injuries, did a good job scoring, feeding, and defending. Inside, Dee Blakely and Allison Siano rebounded and defended well, and put some points on the board. Head Coach Don Sebren said, “The youngsters played hard and “Sarge” Coach Doyle helped them become believers in some things we value, like taking care of the ball and boxing out so we don’t give up stickbacks. Fayette’s assistant coach told me that Erin Peel ‘…belongs at the other end. She’s dominating this group.’ All in all, the youngsters did a good job and are learning quickly.”
