The Eagles were represented by senior Elizabeth Packard and junior Tyler Howard in the state tournament (individuals). Tyler finished with a score of 85 for the first day and concluded the tournament with that score as the boys tournaments were halted on the 2nd day due to darkness. Elizabeth finished with a score of 106 for the first round and 111 for the second for a 2-day final score of 217.

The Lady Eagles did not qualify for the state tournament, but gave a valiant effort in the region tournament. Individually, senior Elizabeth Packard did qualify for the State Tournament shooting a 98 for the day. The State Tournament is Oct. 10 & 11.

Congratulations to the girls JV golf team in the JV Regional. Lindsey Tong was low medalist with a score of 47, while Bridgett Gaston and Wendy Alyea tied for second, each with a 52.
The Varsity Lady Eagles Golf Team (105) lost a four-way match with St. Agnes (88), Briarcrest (96) and Hutchison (99). The Lady Eagles record stands at 9-12-1 for the year.

The Lady Eagles (101) lost to St. George’s (85) and SBEC (100) in a golf match at Galloway. They were led by Wendy Alyea with a 46 and are now 9-13-1 for the year.

Lady Eagles (97) finished in 3rd place behind Briarcrest (80) and St. Agens (72). SBA holds a 9-12-1 record.

The Lady Eagles did not place at the USN Tournament but beat SBEC 198-207. The girls were led by Elizabeth Packard with a 97. The girls are 9-9-1 for the year.

The Lady Eagles had a tough day with St. Mary’s and Hutchison, losing St. Mary’s 86, Hutchison 89 and SBA 96. Alexis Bingham led the Eagles with a 44. The team is 8-7-1 for the year.

Morgan Kahle led the Lady Eagles golf team with a 43 and a birdy on # 7 and hit the ball great, but the team came up four strokes short of beating Hutchison (89-93) at Mirimichi. The Eagles bested Tipton-Rosemark, though, 93-108. Bridget Gaston had her best round shooting a 46 and was second in the SBA group and Elizabeth Packard also birdied #5. The Lady Eagles are 8-5-1 for the season and meet Hutchison, again, and St. Mary’s at Plantation next.

The Lady Eagles tied for second with FACS with a score of 97 and beat ECS (119) and only two strokes off Hutchison, who led the group with a 95. Low scorer for SBA was Morgan Kahle with a 47. Their record stands at 7-4-2

The Lady Eagles Golf Team tied a formidable St. George’s with a score of 105, but beat SBEC. The low scorer for St. Benedict was Morgan Kahle, who shot a 50 for the day. The Lady Eagles are 4-3-1 for the season.

The girls came in second behind a very good St. George’s team in their match with St. George’s 84, and Tipton-Rosemark, 103. The Lady Eagles shot a very respectable 92 for the day and hold a 3-3 record for the season.

Both the Boys and Girls Golf Teams played in the Dragon Invitational with the girls finishing with a 208 for the day in an 11-team match. The boys finished with a 333 in a 17-team match to finish in 10th. The highlight of the day, was Jake Jeffrey shot a 75 with the rest in the mid 80's, not bad for the hot conditions. Jake was even par until the second to the last hole when he had a triple bogey, but bounced back and pared the last hole to be 3 over. He was outstanding all day. In fact, other Coaches were asking where he is playing in college!!

SBA Golfers had 2 Medalists against Bolton High School at the Links of Davy Crockett. Morgan Kahle, shot a 47 and helped lead the Lady Eagles with a win over Bolton - 96 to 104 and even though the boys lost a close match against Bolton, 177-179, Richard Ewing shot a 41 to medal.

The Lady Eagles finished behind St. Mary’s and FACS in their match with a composite score of 103. St. Mary's 80, FACS 82, St. Benedict 103. SBA’s record stands at 1-1.
