Junior Notes

Dear Parents

    I just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful year. I have enjoyed getting to know your children and I will miss them as they move up to their big senior year. I hope that you have a wonderful and safe summer.

There are only a couple of things to note:

• The Nabil “Bill” Saba scholarship is available to rising seniors at St. Benedict. The chosen student could receive up to $3,000 toward their tuition senior year. The student must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA at the end of their junior year, be a Catholic, submit an essay, and a resume. Applications can be picked up in the Guidance office.
• The summer school schedule for students who have failed a class is available on the Shelby County schools website: www.scsk12.org
• Exam schedule is:
  • May 22nd 8th and 7th period exams
  • May 23rd 6th and 3rd period exams
  • May 24th 5th and 2nd period exams
  • May 25th 4th and 1st period exams
• White Station High school will be offering ACT workshops this summer. There are only two sessions available this year and space is limited. The cost is $120 payable in cash or money orders. The fee includes two workbooks. See Ms. Brannon for an application.
  • Session I: June 4-15; 8am to 11am
  • Session II: June 4-15; 11:30 am to 2:30pm
