" The French Club is formally called the Le Cercle Francais. Its purpose is to promote the study of the French language, culture, and history."

 

 

We will be celebrating French week from November 2nd through the 8th, '06.  It is a week commemorating French contributions to world culture.  It is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. 

We will celebrate here by having a French Fact quiz read each morning with announcements.  Having one of our students do the daily announcements.  The cafeteria has agreed to have a day of French food during this time.  We will watch videos on France and about French accomplishments.  Students will play our ever popular Fringo.

Dues/Fees:  Varies with the activity or field trip

Meetings:  Announced during French class.

Requirements for Membership:  Must be currently enrolled in or have been enrolled in French.

Minimum Requirements to Stay a Member:  Participation in activities.

Requirements to Run for Office:  A student must be in 2nd year French or beyond, must have a grade of a B or better, must want to serve, and should sign up with the sponsor.
