Senior Information
Prom
Prom tickets will are on sale April 2, 3 and 4. Tickets are $6.00 per SBA senior. Tickets are $40.00 for all students who are not an SBA senior.
Prom is at the Cadre Building April 14th from 7:00-11:00. The Cadre Building is in downtown Memphis on the corner of Second and Monroe. There are many parking garages in the area.
Holland Studios will take pictures during prom. A list of prices and picture packages will be distributed before the day of prom. If you have any questions about prom see Mrs. Brannon, Mrs. Ford, or Mrs. Pandora Stafford.
Graduation Packets
Families will receive a graduation information packet by email in the next few days. Important dates will be listed as well as forms which must be returned to school. Return all forms in this packet to the school office by April 13th. One of the forms concerns scholarships received. If we do not receive the forms by the 13th , we do not guarantee your scholarships will be listed in the graduation bulletin.
College Days
A Reminder: Seniors are allowed two college days a year. However, you must follow the guidelines handed out first semester. Documentation must be brought from the college to verify the visit was official. NO COLLEGE DAYS AFTER APRIL 13th.
Several students have visited colleges and not provided documentation that it was an official visit. If you have not done this the college day will be removed from your record and it will be counted as an excused absence.
Scholarships
Tennessee Hope Scholarship
A scholarship for students living in Tennessee and attending college within the state. Parents must complete the FAFSA form in order for students to receive the scholarship. The FAFSA should be completed for all students, even if attending a university in another state or a technical school. Forms available online www.fafsa.gov
Collierville Connection Scholarship
Scholarship opportunity for someone living in Collierville. Scholarship based on school activities, community service, and your school record. Applications are available in the guidance office.
Pi Kappa Alpha Scholarship
Scholarship for a student attending Mississippi State, male or female. Applications in the guidance office.
