Academic Curriculum

At St. Benedict at Auburndale Catholic High School, our mission is to provide students with a foundation of faith formation, character development, and academic excellence. Through this commitment, we offer multiple academic curriculums - College Prep, Advanced, and Honors/Advanced Placement (AP). These curriculums create an environment where students are supported and challenged to reach their fullest potential.

Course placement at St. Benedict is determined by a student’s aptitude and performance, measured through placement test scores and prior academic history, to provide the right balance of support and challenge in each content area. While all course curriculums share a common foundation, the pace, depth, and expectations increase at each level; helping students grow in confidence, independence, and excellence.

Since St. Benedict at Auburndale is an AP Capstone school, students are asked to participate in research studies in the spring semester to assist those students who are candidates for the Capstone diploma.
