2023 Academics day at SBASt. Benedict at Auburndale, in conjunction with the SBA chapters of the Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society and the National Honor Society, invites you to our 35th annual Academics Day Competition.
Like Knowledge Bowl, this competition promotes academic excellence in the fifth through eighth grades. The tournament will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023, on SBA's campus. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. (for early arrivals), with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. The competition starts at 8:30 and concludes with the finals at 1:30 p.m. (approximate times). Pizza and snacks are provided to coaches and students. SBA is pleased to offer this opportunity at no cost to you.
An additional feature of this year's tournament is the change to two divisions: a 7th - 8th-grade division and a new 5th - 6th-grade division. Test questions will be different and geared to the respective age groups. We hope this will encourage more participation from the competing schools.
Below you will find a school registration form. Schools can enter up to 2 teams of 6 (4 participants and two alternates) per division. Registration form(s) should be completed by Friday, March 3, 2023.
