Financial Aid

St. Benedict is an affordable choice within private education. We are committed to providing a high-quality education rooted in the mission of the Catholic Church, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to grow academically, spiritually, and socially in a warm and inclusive environment.

Families seeking financial aid have three options to consider: FACTS, the TN ESA program, or potentially both, or the Education Freedom Scholarship (EFS). Regardless of the option you choose or your eligibility, it is crucial to upload all required tax documents at the time of submission. Incomplete applications may lead to processing delays or even denial of funds.

Apply Through FACTS

St. Benedict has a limited amount of tuition assistance to award each year as this is funded by donations. Applications for financial aid are accepted online via FACTS, our Tuition Management and Grant & Financial Aid Assessment third-party partner.

A non-refundable application fee of $45 is required to submit your application. All families must reapply annually for financial assistance.

For more information, call the Admissions Office at 901.260.2898 or contact FACTS by calling 866.315.9262. You may also email info@factsmgt.com. You may log in to your FACTS user account to review the status of your application. Please allow 2 weeks processing time before inquiring further about receipt and/or status of the uploaded documents.

Once a family chooses to enroll their student at St. Benedict, FACTS will be utilized again to set up the tuition payment plan.

Step 1: Create an account or login into FACTS and complete online application
Step 2: Upload all required supporting documentation.

TN ESA Program

Families may also qualify for the Tennessee Education Savings Account (TN ESA) program which is managed by the state and provides eligible families with funds to cover approved educational expenses such as tuition. This program aims to give parents increased flexibility in their children’s education by allowing them to use these funds at participating private schools and educational providers.

The Education Freedom Scholarship (EFS)

The Tennessee Education Freedom Scholarships (TN EFS) allows residents of Tennessee who have a child entitled to attend a public school in grades K-12 to use state funds toward education expenses, including tuition and/or fees at registered Category I, II, or III private schools located in Tennessee.

Of the 20,000 scholarships available, 50% will be awarded based on financial need, while the remaining 50% are not need-based. For ongoing updates about the program, we also encourage families to subscribe to the TN Department of Education newsletter.
