Campus Ministry
As the only Diocesan High School in the Diocese of Memphis, St. Benedict at Auburndale prioritizes the mission of the Diocese, which is "To spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to the people of West Tennessee," by offering a variety of vibrant ministry programs both on and off campus. Under the leadership of Tim Saucer, St. Benedict’s students embody the Gospel through daily Theology classes, biweekly Mass celebrations, monthly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, annual retreats, guest speaker events, student organizations, guided reflections on vocational discernment, daily prayers, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation for those seeking it. The involvement of Tim Saucer, our Dominican Sisters, and many Lay Faithful plays a crucial role in helping students develop a deeper relationship with God. With nearly 40% of our student body identifying with faith traditions outside of Catholicism, we take pride in fostering community and fellowship across religious and spiritual divides, all guided by our school's commitment to Christ's ultimate mission of love.
